Site Inspection fee (outside Metro Manila only) Php 5,000 or total expenses incurred for transportation, accommodations, and meals, whichever is higher, payable upon issuance of Request of Inspection.
The franchise fee payable to Franchise or upon signing of the Franchise Agreement is based on the size of the area.
* 80sqm. to 120sqm. – Php 1 Million
* Over 120sqm. – Php 1.5 Million
The estimated total investment as follows:
* Tea house: 7 – 8 Million
* Restaurant: 9 – 12 Million (160sqm) retro fit types; 12 – 16 Million (stand-alone Structure)
Total investment covers the following:
* Franchisee fee
* Operating equipment, kitchen and dining equipment
* Construction/ Renovation
* Training and pre-operating expenses
* Design fee and project management fee
* Food security deposit (initial stocks)
* Furniture and fixtures
Answer: Franchisee should be motivated to succeed and be outgoing person with entrepreneurial spirit. It is important that franchisee accepts the pros and cons of Franchising, those who desire total control are not suitable to be franchisees.
Answer: This depends on several variables; selecting a favorable location for your facility, completing training and renovation.
Answer: The royalty is 5% of gross sales, 2% of gross sales is the National Advertisement Fund as soon at the same is established.
Answer: Usually, the franchisee applicant offers or proposed the store location subject to our sites assessment and analysis. The company may also look for the site for the approval of the franchise applicant. Construction or renovation is entirely at the expenses (including in the total franchise setup cost)
Answer: Yes. The only requirement is that Hap Chan Trading & Management must approve all remodeling to the specifications of Hap Chan Restaurant to insure that our requirements and standards are met. Renovation should be done by accredited contractors of Hap Chan.
Answer: Yes. We will design and furnish you with perspective, floor plan and other specifications for a Hap Chan Tea House/ Restaurant. Design fee will be shouldered by the Franchisee which is included in the Franchise Package.
Answer: As a Hap Chan Franchisee, you are required to purchase all products and ingredients from Franchisor, except other items that may be purchase from approved supplier.
Prior to and upon opening, a Franchisor representative will assist you with training personnel, ordering, and arranging a Grand Opening.
Answer: Absolutely, Hap Chan Trading & Management Corp. has spent a great deal of time and effort developing its product and system and accepts no compromise in quality and control. For this reason, we require Franchisee, Kitchen and Dining Crew to complete our training program and demonstrate mastery of certain basic skills. The cost of training that the Franchisor may incur is included in the Franchisee Fee, except all salaries, and other expenses that the Franchisee’s personnel incurred during training period.
Answer: Our confidential OPERATIONS MANUAL details the Hap Chan system on every aspects of daily operation in the store.
